                                                   “Day 4”

Any student wishing to make a schedule change needs to put your name on the sign-up list in the counseling center. Students will be called down as counselors are available. All students need to make any schedule changes by September 27th. 

GAA members, please remain after forum for officer elections.

A reminder to all Middle School students interested in representing your class, please get your letter of interest to Mrs. Martin by the end of the day today.

Lunch today is: BBQ Chicken on a Bun and Cole Slaw.

                             September 12, 2019

                                          “Day 3”

Attention All Students: The clothes closet will be open today for all boys.

 

Any student wishing to make a schedule change needs to put your name on the sign-up list in the counseling center. Students will be called down as counselors are available. All students need to make any schedule changes by September 27th. 

GAA members will stay after Forum tomorrow to vote for officers.

There will be a meeting for class officers after school today in Mrs. English’s room.

A reminder to all Middle School students interested in representing your class, please get your letter of interest to Mrs. Martin by the end of the day tomorrow.

Darren Zheng has also been elected as class representative for the class of 2020. Numerous people wrote his name in! Congrats to Darren!

Lunch today is: Chicken Wing Pizza, Garlic Pizza, and Spinach. 

SPORTS NEWS:

At last night’s cross country meet, Alexis LaFever came in 6th for girls and Payton came in 7th for boys. Way to go!!

 

 

 

  

                              September 11, 2019

                                         “Day 2”

Attention All Students: The clothes closet will be open Thursday September 12th for all boys. Time for a back to school shopping spree!! 

 Any student wishing to make a schedule change needs to put your name on the sign-up list in the counseling center. Students will be called down as counselors are available. All students need to make any schedule changes by September 27th. 

Any student that is interested in playing Ice Hockey this winter please see Mr. Doroshenko by today at 3:00 pm to sign up.  He needs this information as he meets with Cazenovia Hockey.

Unfortunately the Youth Commission Yankee trip has been postponed until next summer.

GAA members will stay after Forum this Friday to vote for officers.

Auditions for Shrek the musical will take place today after school.  Please check the call board for times and information.  There is a part for everyone who wants to participate, so don't miss out!

The class of 2020 has elected Corey Hagmann for president, Alexis LaFever for vice president, Karyn Hill as secretary, and Delaney Koehl as treasurer, with Samantha VanDusen and Kyriese Miller as representatives. Thank you to those of you who prepared a speech and participated in elections yesterday. There will be a meeting for class officers after school on Thursday, September 12 in Mrs. English’s room. We have a full agenda!

SPORTS NEWS:

Please join Alexis and Payton today at their only home cross country meet of the season in Waterville. And we’ll be celebrating Alexis’ senior night at 4:15. Come and cheer them on!

The girls varsity field hockey team beat Sherburne last night with a score of 5-3. The first goal of the game was scored by Emily Stewart assisted by Hannah Caruso then a quick second goal by Lily Orth assisted by Kenzie Newton .  Sherburne then answered back with one goal and before halftime Lily Orth scored again on a corner with an amazing reverse stick shot after the ball was set up for her by Aeryn Jackson.  The second half started with another goal by Lily assisted by Delaney Koehl and to finish out the win McKenzie Newton brought the ball all the way down the field to score single handed!  Great win Ladies!!! Keep it up!

Attention All Students: The clothes closet will be open tomorrow September 10th for all girls, and Thursday September 12th for all boys. Time for a back to school shopping spree!! 

Upcoming elections will be held after forum on Tuesday, September 10th. If you are interested in becoming an officer, today is the last day to sign up.  The sign-up sheet is outside Mrs. McDonald's room.  Please make sure that if you signed up to be an officer that you have your speech prepared.

SPORTS NEWS:

Friday night the girl’s varsity soccer team opened their season with a 3-2 double Overtime victory against Otselic Valley. The warriors opened up with a 2-0 score in the first half with goals from Kendra Waltz and Lacy Priest. Both goals were great outside shots assisted by Lizzy Marsala and Shawna Manwarren.  Otselic Valley tied the game up in the second half. The warriors played the first overtime with great intensity but the score remained tied at 2-2. In the final overtime Kendra Waltz gave Ashley Snyder a great thru ball and Ashley put the game winning goal in the side. The defense led by Lizzy Marsala, Krysten Galavotti, and Allison Sternberg held on for the win. The entire team played a great 100 minutes of soccer for their season opener.  Congratulations !!

 

Waterville/ME kicked off their season with the VVS invitational on Saturday. There were 75 school participating. Alexis LaFever placed 83 in her heat. Payton Hirsch placed 42nd in his heat. Way to go!
