                                             “Day 4”

Attention seniors: Mrs. Roher needs seniors to work on thier part of the yearbook.  The items that need to be done are the superlatives, Halloween page, prom page, pictures from elementary days, and candids.  If interested, please let your advisors know or these pages will NOT be in the yearbook.  You can also contact Mrs. Roher through school email.

Attention Seniors: Please fill out and hand in your Senior Quote sheet, no later than November 1st. Please keep your Quotes to one line. Seniors who go to BOCES, please hand your sheets to Mrs. McDonald.  Those Seniors who DO NOT go to BOCES. Please hand your sheets to Mrs. Palmer.

Attention Juniors and Seniors: In regards to your progress reports,BOCES will be submitting your grades next week, therefore, an additional progress report will be mailed to replace your previous progress report.

Attention freshmen class.  We will be working on our hallway decorations after school Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of homecoming week.  IF you want to stay after to work on the decorations, you MUST sign up with Mr. McCarthy.  You must also stay for the entire time from 215 - 300 p.m.  If you have questions please see Mr. McCarthy.

SPORT NEWS:

Great effort from the boys from OV and ME last night!  They defended well holding Stockbridge Valley only to 9 shots, and the Vikings end up with shutout win.  Gavin Hazzard from OV made 4 timely saves.  Jaxin Davis, Darin Grabow, Max Akers and Cody O'Hara did a great job of marking and containing their man.  Garrett Wood and Carter Smith worked well together on the top of the field collect and keeping position of a lot of OV clears and turning it into an attack.  The loan goal can from through ball to Garrett down the right side line who beat a Stockbridge defender and hit a low cross that defected to Carter Smith who buried it in the back of the net.  Our Midfielder Braeden Davis, Dakota Hackett, Levi Lyon, Brandon Brown, and Evan Baker did a great job supporting the defense and the offense.  The boys from OV and ME has done a great job putting aside their difference and coming along and gellin' together!

                                              “Day 2”

Attention all 10th and 11th graders taking the PSAT: There will be a mandatory Pre-Administration session this Friday.  10th graders will be called to the library period 3 and 11th graders will be called to the library period 4.  You will all be receiving instructions for filling out your answer sheet.  This takes approximately 30-40 minutes.  This will reduce the amount of time needed to administer the PSAT next week.  It is very important that all students taking the PSAT participate in the Pre-Adminisrative session.  If you have any questions please see the Counseling Center. 

Reminder to students: Picture day is today. Your English teachers have your order forms.   Pictures will be taken in the auditorium. 

Lunch today is: Grilled Cheese Sandwich and Tomato Soup.

SPORT NEWS:

The OV/ME boys’ varsity put another tally in the W column last night with a win over GMU. During the 1st half OV had the upper hand, the Viking moved the ball very well all over the field, the passes were crisp and the runs were wide and diagonal.  The Boys from OV did a great job communicating passes and runs.  Which lead to a half time lead of 2 to 0 with two goals from Carter Smith and assist by Evan Baker and Garrett Wood.  Daren Grabow, Cody O'Hara, Jaxin Davis, Max Akers, and keeper Gavin Hazzard did a great job all game keeping GMU offense under control.  During the second half it was an even match, both team had great opportunities to score both teams came away with one goal in the half.  The Goal from OV came from Garrett Wood and assisted by Carter Smith.

 

 

 

 

 

                                       October 8, 2019

                                               “Day 1”

 Attention all students: Your Code of Conduct is past due if you haven’t already turned it in to the main office, please do so as soon as possible.

Reminder to students: picture day is tomorrow, October 9th. Your English teachers have your order forms.   Pictures will be taken in the auditorium. 

The yearbook receives a commission on picture sales which in turn helps out the yearbook!

Attention students interested in taking the PSAT: if you are on the waitlist, please bring in your $17.00 fee as soon as possible.  If you are an 11th grader that may be eligible for a fee waiver please ask about it in the Counseling Center as soon as possible.

There will be an NHS meeting today after school in room 116.  Please see Mrs. Healy or Mrs. Kent if you cannot attend.

Lunch today is: Garden Vegetable Soup, Baked Ziti, Sliced Bread, and Garden Salad.
